Der Lab Berlin has been officially established at Charité, Universitätsmedizin Berlin in Germany.
Charité was established in 1710 by King Frederick I of Prussia, in preparation for the bubonic plague. It was later used as a charity hospital for the poor and eventually integrated as a teaching hospital for Universitätsmedizin Berlin in 1828. It has since become Europe’s largest university clinic.
Channing Der visited the new lab at the end of January.
