NATIONAL PANCREATIC CANCER ADVOCACY DAY
JUNE 20 AND 21 | WASHINGTON, D.C.
Dear Colleagues,
This June, the powerful voices of the physicians, nurses, researchers and other healthcare professionals who care for patients and fight this disease daily need to be heard on Capitol Hill. Join participants from across the country – pancreatic cancer survivors, caregivers and volunteers – as we advocate for increased funding for pancreatic cancer research. It’s time to tell Congress that together, we can make the impossible possible for patients everywhere!
The only way to achieve our goal to double pancreatic cancer survival by 2020 is through scientific and clinical research. And we need the help of our legislators to ensure that the National Cancer Institute (NCI) within the National Institutes of Health (NIH) has the resources necessary to support critical research efforts for pancreatic cancer.
At Advocacy Day, you will have the opportunity to meet with key legislators, network with other pancreatic cancer researchers and clinicians and connect directly with survivors, caregivers and other advocates who have been touched by this disease. You will also receive comprehensive advocacy training prior to your meetings on Capitol Hill – so no prior experience is necessary.
Please register by May 6.

If you have any questions, please contact our Government Affairs & Advocacy Office at 202-742-6699 or email advocacy@pancan.org. We look forward to seeing you in June!
All my best,
