Last month, the Der Lab and UNC Lineberger friends participated for the sixth consecutive year in the annual PanCan Purplestide 5K.
Together, the RAScals raised over $12,000, placing third in donations, and bringing them to a fundraising total of $69,180!
Team Captain Kirsten Bryant was invited to open the event with a speech. She spoke of her connection with pancreatic cancer, and her hope for future treatments and cures. Kirsten won first place for the Women’s Timed Run.
