Anti-Ras Therapies

Anti-Ras drug discovery – currently, the most promising approaches for pharmacologic inhibition of Ras involve inhibitors of Ras effector signaling, in particular the Raf and PI3K effectors.  Presently, over 40 pharmacologic inhibitors of Raf-MEK-ERK mitogen-activated protein kinase signaling and PI3K-AKT-mTOR signaling are under clinical evaluation.  Our research has focused on inhibitors of the Raf-MEK-ERK cascade.
